Almawaddah Foundation was legally registered in 2021 in the Republic of Namibia. This was preceded by its official establishment and naming from Sayyidi Ḥabīb ʿUmar bin Ḥafīẓ in 2019. The three principles of Almawaddah Foundation are knowledge, service and propagation. These are derived from the three principles upon which Sayyidi Ḥabīb ʿUmar bin Ḥafīẓ founded Dār al-Muṣṭafā und Dār al-Zahrāʾ, namely, knowledge, spiritual wayfaring and propagation (ʿIlm, Sulūk and Daʿwah).
The word Almawaddah is a transliterated Arabic term for love, defining the purpose of this organisation, which aims to bridge the gap between the lovers and the beloved, Prophet Muḥammad ﷺ, via translated content of various personalities, mostly from the Ḥaḍramawt Valley.
We pray that this organisation will be a means of benefit to all and a means of their connection strengthening to Allāh ﷻ and to the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ. May Allāh ﷻ make us all a means of spreading love.
